Whatever your plans for the future, the ability to use English well will really help you. We offer a range of English courses to help you develop the language and communication skills you need for work and everyday life - even if you have been out of education for a while.
From complete beginners to GCSE, there will be a course at the right level for you. We will ask you to complete an assessment to help us choose the right level of teaching for you.
The vast majority of our students are not required to pay for our English courses.
You will take part in a range of learning activities to improve your use of practical English, including the skills of speaking and listening, reading, writing, and spelling.
All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. Many of our students are eligible for financial support when studying at college – please click here for more information.
