This course will help you develop professional accountancy and finance skills that will be useful throughout your career, including drafting financial statements for limited companies, knowledge and skills in complex management accounting techniques and the ability to analyse accounting systems and their associated controls. You will also enhance your knowledge and skills in specialist accountancy and finance subjects, such as tax, auditing, credit management, and cash and treasury management.
The course is ideal if you are already working in finance or accounting, or if you would like to go onto become a full AAT member, or study for chartered accountant status.
Our teachers are currently planning for the safest ways to deliver this course from September. We have been delivering all of our courses online since the outbreak of Coronavirus in March 2020, and we are fully equipped to continue this for as long as is necessary.
We are planning to deliver the course in a mixed format - blending online lessons with face-to-face teaching – as and when we feel that, on the basis of Government advice and our own risk assessments, it is safe to do so. We’ll continue to review our plans and keep you updated on changes as your course progresses.
For this course, our plans for a flexible, mixed format mean that:
50% of this course will be delivered via virtual teaching, with 50% taking place face-to-face onsite
Theory sessions will be delivered online through Microsoft Teams and other online platforms for resources
Our care and commitment to students is paramount – tutorials and one-to-ones will be delivered online, providing you with a high level of support and opportunities to complete any work you have with your tutor
Support services will be available at the click of a button, and we will also be here to help you with any personal difficulties
Further details will be available in August - if you have already been made an offer, you will receive further information in the lead up to enrolment.
