Performing Arts - Dance Drama Music
Studying performing arts at City and Islington College gives you a route into the professional world of theatre, music and dance.
Our performing arts courses are specifically designed for students from diverse backgrounds, we aim to reflect the multi- ethnic nature of our students through the design of our course programmes. We select plays, musicians, and themes which draw on a wide range of international artists and practitioners to ensure our curriculum is dynamic, forward thinking and representative of our society. You will work with and learn from practitioners and experienced professionals on these dynamic courses. You will have access to a fully equipped theatre, drama and dance studios as well as music practice and technology studios. Opportunities to develop skills in technical theatre, lighting and sound are available throughout each course to enhance your skills set. As well as developing your performance techniques, you will have the opportunity to develop skills through relevant work experience and be involved in a number of public performances both the college theatre and outside venues.
