Transferring to Year 13

If you’re looking to transfer from your current school or college to continue your A Levels studies (Year 13) at City and Islington College’s Sixth Form College, please read the information below.

The form below asks you for your current subject content information; please list your current A Level subjects, exam boards, modules and topics you have studied for each subject. Without these details, we will be unable to consider your application.

We will check with our subject teachers whether your studies so far are compatible with the A Levels that we run (all of our A Levels are now linear and we do not offer any AS Levels to our current Year 12 students). If the courses are compatible then we will consider the level of your academic achievement to date. If you have taken AS Levels in any subjects, we will require a minimum of a pass at D grade, which you will need to evidence at enrolment.

If after considering your application and subjects, we think that we may be able to make an offer, we will require an end-of-year reference from your current school/college, to include information about attendance, punctuality and progress. We will request this at a later date.

We advise you to also apply to join our Year 12, in case a transfer to Year 13 is not possible.

Please email Bryan Johnston for further information.
