Candi students go large for the Big Idea Challenge. PLEASE VOTE NOW!

23 April 2018

Sixth Form students, Fizza and Nafisah, have come up with a business and tech savvy way to improve community safety.

Their idea, named Connect Safe, has been entered into the London Metropolitan University Big Idea Challenge competition and they need YOU to vote for them

Their concept is a badge that records sound and video, and is designed with the aim to help cut down on bullying and abuse at work and at public events. Employees can wear the badge to capture evidence of incidents and the badges themselves can act as a deterrent.

Jo Bishop, Head of Careers, said: "Our students have worked incredibly hard on their idea and come up with something that not only demonstrates their business skills but also an awareness of issues and problems facing young people today."

Fizza said: ‘I am excited for the Big Idea Challenge because it gives me the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and have new experiences. May the best idea win!’

Please vote for Fizza and Nafisah's idea, they've worked really hard and in a team of just two, compared to other teams being in a group of four!
