Teaching Maths in Further Education (FE) - Introduction

Are you interested to find out how to teach Maths to students?

This Teaching Math in Further Education (FE) Introduction course is aimed at anyone who is interested in teaching Maths in an FE, Adult Education or voluntary setting.

You will:

• Be introduced to the types of learners and given an insight into their needs
• Begin to break down some of the key strategies in teaching Maths
• Look at published and online teaching materials

No previous teaching experience is needed for the course, but you should be secure in your own basic mathematical understanding.

Once you have completed the course, you will have the opportunity to discuss with the course tutor the most appropriate progression routes onto further Teacher Training courses.
