About the Course

Our employability coaching sessions are designed to help you break into the creative industries. You will develop essential skills for standing out in a competitive job market, with a focus on building a professional online presence and mastering communication strategies.

Through targeted coaching, you'll improve your job search strategies, learn how to communicate effectively with potential employers, and build the confidence to succeed in interviews.

Our sessions takes place at the following locations on the following days/times:

  • Join Bee (professional graphic designer) on Mondays - 10am - 1pm - to get your portfolios on point, know how to work with clients, build your client base and your confidence.
     
  • Join Silvia (dedicated employability coach) on Wednesdays - 10am - 12.30pm to master your communication skills, online presence and acing those speculative emails and networking events.

Once you make a booking via our website; we will send you a form to fill to select your location of choice and assess your needs.

What Will I Study?

Activities include:

  • Optimising LinkedIn and social media platforms for job opportunities in creative fields.
  • Crafting effective CVs and showreels to showcase your creative work.
  • Mastering business communication, both physical and verbal, to boost confidence in interviews, networking, and unsolicited opportunities.

What Will I Need?

You will need to be looking for work in the creative industries or intend to work in the sector.

Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, EU citizen ID card, UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK - your visa, your biometric card that covers the duration of your course or any relevant home office documents to support your residency should all be uploaded. If you’re an EUEEA or Swiss citizen we will need to see evidence of 'Pre-Settled' or 'Settled-status' documents. Also for funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC), Housing benefits etc. please bring evidence of this).
