Skills for Professions in Digital Industries and Technology - Level 2 Diploma

This course will give you an understanding of the skills required within the digital and technology industries. You will learn subjects such as algebra and graphs, HTML and CSS basics, cybersecurity and computer networks.

The units of this course focus on employability and eco-conscious practices with a diverse learning environment, enabling the creation of a personalised learning programme.

You will learn:

• Algebra and graphs
• Further statistics and probability
• Using Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Supporting sustainability in an office environment
• Programming fundamentals
• Robotic solutions
• Computer networks
• Software testing principles
• Cybersecurity
• HTML and CSS basics

You will need:

• GCSE grades 3 and above for English and Maths
• A level 1 qualification in Computing

You will be assessed by assignments and a portfolio.

Adults - Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2

If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. This qualification will enable you to progress onto further study for example a level 3 qualification, employment or an apprenticeship in a related area.
