This Level 1 qualification will provide you with a basic understanding, knowledge and skills needed to care for young children.
During this course you will study a range of units, including:
All resources required for this level 1 course will be supplied by the college.
You will need to commit to attending college on the timetabled days, for this full-year course.
All assessment for this course is by the completion of coursework and assignments. These will be completed as you study.
If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. The majority of level 1 childcare courses are free. You will be fee-assessed as part of your enrolment process.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to progress onto a full level 2 childcare qualification.
