Caring for a Child/Children - Entry Level 3 Certificate

This entry-level 3 qualification will provide you with the basic skills needed to care for a baby or young child.

You will study various units, these include:

• Healthy eating routines for children
• Respecting and valuing children
• Play and learning activities to use with children
• Taking care of a sick child
• Routines for young children

All the resources will be provided by the college. You will need to commit to attending all timetabled lessons for the duration of the course.

Assessment is by the completion of coursework created during the course.

Adults - Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2

If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. The majority of entry-level courses are free to enrol on. You will be fee-assessed as part of your enrolment process.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to progress onto a Level 1 Diploma in Childcare.
