ABOUT

This qualification is ideal for learners who want to develop an understanding of the essential skills required to work successfully in a business environment and gives them an understanding of business culture and responsibilities.

This qualification will help you to develop the skills required to solve problems, communicate and work effectively with others, and how to manage and improve your performance in a business environment.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

You will study directly with employers - The course includes:

  • Working on a project ( external employer)
  • Developing Entrepreneurial skills (Pitching to external employers)
  • Transferable skills - designed to be used in industry
  • Development of behaviour, skills, and attitudes sought after by employers

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a:

  • Level 1 qualification
  • or 4 GCSE grade 3 
  • Functional skills level 1 in English and Maths may also be helpful

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS

You will be asssed  by 100% coursework by way of producing a portfolio. 

FEES

If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August prior to the start date of your course and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your programme then your study with us will be free. Please see here for the documents you will need to show us.
