Business Enterprise - Level 3 Diploma

This qualification is for learners aged 16-18. This qualification is ideal for those who want to develop an understanding of the essential skills required to work successfully in a business environment and gives them an understanding of business culture and responsibilities.

You will develop the skills required to solve problems, communicate, and work effectively with others and how to manage and improve your own performance in a business environment.

You will be required to take part in work experience, and enrichment activities which is an essential part of the study programme.

You will study key subjects such as:

• Starting a small business
• Social Enterprise
• Finance for a new business
• Business culture and responsibilities

You will need:

• GCSE grade 3 - 4

There is an opportunity to re-sit English and Maths if needed.

You will be assessed by your portfolio, which is externally and internally marked.

Aged 16-18

If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August prior to the start date of your course and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your programme then your study with us will be free. Please see here for the documents you will need to show us.

The Diploma in Business is the equivalent of two A Levels. The optional units have been designed to support choices in progression to business courses in Higher Education and to link with relevant occupational areas such as Human Resources, Accounting, Business, Finance and Marketing.
