This Entry Level programme is aimed at adults who do not have an EHCP but who have learning difficulties and disabilities.
The course will enable you to develop your employability and communication skills. In addition the programme will teach you horticultural skills, giving you the opportunity to work in the college garden - planting flowers, growing fruit and vegetables and learning gardening maintenance skills, which can be transferred into the work environment.

You do not need an EHCP to apply for this course.
All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm the course is suitable for them.
You will be assessed through completing a portfolio of work. Activities will involve both practical and written tasks which will be assessed through a range of methods.
Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. On successful completion of the course, you will be able to progress to other qualifications, such as Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 courses. You may also progress into paid, supported or voluntary work.
