ABOUT THE COURSE

We offer a range of maths courses to help you develop the number skills you need for work and everyday life - even if you've been out of education for a while. From complete beginners to GCSE, they'll be a course at the right level for you.

Functional Skills Maths

We offer Functional Skills courses at Entry Level 2, Entry Level 3 and Level 1. The courses are 5 hours per week, starting in September and ending with two written exams in June. We run classes in either the morning or afternoon; some levels are also available as evening classes.

Functional Skills are widely recognised across all sectors of employment and can be a stepping stone to GCSE.

GCSE Maths

We offer GCSE Maths at both Foundation and Higher levels. The courses are 6 hours per week, starting in September and ending with three written exams in June. We run classes in the morning, afternoon or evening.

GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above is a minimum requirement for many jobs, vocational courses, further and Higher Education.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

You will take part in a range of activities to refresh and develop your maths skills, building your confidence in dealing with numbers, including money, measurements and graphs.
