This course develops the knowledge, understanding and skills you'll need to follow your career pathway in Information Technology.
You will work closely with employers, Founders and Coders, charities such as Local Village network, and Yonder who are integrated into the assessment process, giving you the essential skills to get you ready for the world of work, higher education, apprenticeships, and internships.
You will be taught, social media, programming, mobile app development, coding, computer games development, and cyber security.
Within the IT programme, we offer core maths, and an opportunity to be part of our Coding club and can obtain an additional qualification.
Extended Diplomas have two one-year programmes. You need to finish the first year before moving on to the second.

All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will produce a portfolio of work for each units, which will form the basis of your assessment. This will keep you informed on how you're doing, where you need to improve your skills, and what your specialisms should be.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August prior to the start date of your course and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your programme then your study with us will be free. Please see here for the documents you will need to show us.

If you will be aged 19 to 23 prior to the start date of your course, and do not already have a full Level 3 qualification, you may be eligible for a Level 3 entitlement, in which case your study with us will be free. If you are older, or already have a Level 3, we have many other Level 3 courses that are also free to study. Otherwise, you will have to pay the fees yourself or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.
