This course provides you with business knowledge and theory, with an emphasis on economics, law, digital marketing or accounting and finance. The knowledge and supplementary skills you will acquire are those valued by employers, preparing you for work as well as enabling you to continue your studies at university.
Emphasis is on understanding why business skills and knowledge are important, particularly in a work related environment.
You will attend master classes and Q&A sessions with industry experts, visit companies and exhibitions, take part in enterprise activities and competitions and network with industry and former students about their experiences.
This course consists of two separate qualifications. In your first year of study, you will work towards the Level 3 90-Credit Diploma. Following successful completion of this qualification, you will be able to progress to the Extended Diploma. Our Extended Diplomas offer equivalent UCAS points to studying 3 A Levels.

Assessment is carried by completing an employer linked project, which embeds all units related to the course. The project is graded by achieving each task set out in the assignment brief. You will work closely with an employer brief which includes both theoretical and practical topics. This will give you both transferable practical skills and the theoretical ability to enhance your employability status with the purpose of recognising your ability to integrate the knowledge and skills gained on the course.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.
