What we look for

We recruit talented, creative thinkers at all levels, right across the College. People with fresh ideas who are dedicated to doing their job with commitment and bring a desire to make a difference. Teachers, lecturers, managers and business support staff who will help us build on the outstanding success we’ve already achieved.

HR MikkoGenerally we expect candidates for teaching posts to hold an appropriate professional qualification together with a relevant, recognised teaching qualification. On top of this, we’ll usually be looking for you to have proven experience as a teacher or trainer in the applicable subject. In management and business support roles, the mix of experience and expertise we look for varies widely, but there are some core qualities and skills that are essential to every role. These include excellent communication skills, an ability to work well with a wide variety of people, a commitment to safeguarding and to the College's core aims.
