Disability support

Disability support at City and Islington College

We're committed to providing an inclusive learning environment and we aim to make the most of every student’s learning opportunities. It is important to us that students with disabilities, including learning disabilities, feel welcome and are supported throughout their time at college.

If you have a disability, please tell us as soon as possible of any particular help that you need. We will arrange for an assessment so that we can give you the right support during the admissions process and on your course.

  • The College's Course Information team at the Marlborough Building offers a comprehensive initial information service to everyone interested in joining the College.
  • You can phone, visit, email or write to the Course Information team.
  • The Course Information team can provide information about the College in different formats – for example on disk, audio cassette/CD or large print.
  • The College works closely with local schools' Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs), social services, specialist careers advisors, Islington Education, voluntary organisations, Islington and Camden Health Trust, and other colleges, to organise support, equipment and the move to college effectively.
