The College is growing in popularity every year and our diverse range of students come from across London to study the huge array of different courses that we offer.
The City and Islington College Sixth Form Partnership has been set up with local secondary schools to ensure that young people who live in the area have special opportunities to gain access to our courses.
"I decided to come to City and Islington partly because of the great Ofsted report and its great teaching and exam results but also because it is close to EGA which means I can still go back there several times a week. The size of the College means there are lots of opportunities but because there are so many of my classmates from EGA here it doesn't feel unfriendly. I am currently studying A Levels and hope to gain a place studying medicine once I have finished my course."
Ulgen joined the City and Islington College from Holloway School Secondary School.
In order to improve his English, he decided to take the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) at the Centre for Lifelong Learning in Finsbury Park.
Ulgen says: “I really enjoy this College and I have made so many new friends. I would like to eventually do a business course because I want to run my own business when I’m older.”
