“I am currently studying a BTEC National Diploma in Business which is a two year course.
Before coming to City and Islington College to study, I was studying a BTEC ND in Dance and before that` attended Islington Arts and Media School.
I enjoy my course because it is something I have always wanted to study but never had the opportunity to. It is challenging to learn which pushes me to work harder. After college I would like to open my own dance academy and start a business from there.”

Simisola Onagbesan, a former Mount Carmel student, was very pleased when she received her A Level results from City and Islington College as she is now well on her way to achieving her career dream of working in a global investment bank and making lots of money! She is off to study Accounting and Finance at Birmingham University having successfully completed her A Levels at City and Islington College’s Sixth Form College. Simisola received high marks in all her 4 A levels and surprised even herself with an A* in Sociology.
