Q. What’s the difference between A Level and vocational qualifications?
A. It really depends on whether you want to study via an academic route, or through a practical vocational qualification. Both options allow you to progress onto higher-level study or into employment. See our description of the various study levels on Academic or Vocational Study. You can also speak to your school Connexions advisor for more information.
Q. How and when should I apply?A. You can apply from early October. The earlier you apply, the sooner we can interview you. Many students leave it too late, only to be disappointed when they find that there are no places left. Go to How to Apply for details about how to make an online application.
