07 December 2017

City and Islington students visited The Economy Committee Chair Caroline Russell AM at City Hall last week to discuss how young people manage money.

In what was a great experience for our students, they were able to talk to Caroline Russell about all the financial issues that currently concern young people. They highlighted issues such as managing money, budgeting, benefits, as well as university fees.

Caroline Russell, an Islington local, is also Deputy Chair of the Environment Committee along with her chief responsilibities as Chair of the Economy Committee. She said of our students:  "It was a pleasure. They were fantastic with lots of good ideas and helpful experience to share."
