City and Islington student set to showcase at London Fashion Week19 September 2017
City and Islington student, Jack Kennedy, from Camden, will be one of the youngest designers to showcase his designs on the catwalk at London Fashion Week. The Candi student has been working with award-winning charity, FAD’s Fashion Futures programme, which gives young people the opportunity to get ahead with their creative careers.
In Jack’s journey, he explains what he enjoyed about Fashion Future’s “I’ve loved being part of FAD because of how nice and helpful everyone is. Even the people who you are kind of competing against, everyone is so nice and it is such a lovely atmosphere.”
As well as Jack, 19 other London based creatives from diverse backgrounds have been selected from a list of over 70 teenagers. With the support of sponsors NatWest and George at Asda, the finalists have been working hard to perfect their designs which are inspired by the style leaders of Europe, past and present.
