CIC student, Jack, showcases at London Fashion Week03 October 2017
We're incredibly proud of designer and CIC student, Jack, who showcased his design on the catwalk at London Fashion Week 2017. Jack has been working with award-winning charity, FAD’s Fashion Futures programme.
Jack, who has been working tirelessly with FAD over the past few months on his design, said:
"It was a feeling of wonder when I saw my garments going down the runway. The reality of what I had achieved and how hard I had worked finally sank in. It was also a very personal moment despite the public setting; I believe that putting your artistic creations out into public view can be such a difficult thing to do, due to the fear of judgement. However, FAD has given me the platform necessary to showcase the best of my work and get some recognition for what I've done.

"The Fashion Futures programme has given me the opportunity to further develop my own personal style and elevate my work, allowing me to experiment with my own style and build upon all the artistic growth that the environment offers. It's assured me that I have a place within the industry of fashion, and that I can delve into it whenever it suits me best. It's taught me that I can take control of life, not the other way around."
Well done, Jack! We look forward to seeing your designs on the catwalk and on the high street in the future!
