End of Year Drama at the Almeida Theatre
This years Almeida Candi collaborative devised performance explores the themes from Aeschylus' Oresteia. Orestes' parents are at war; a family drama spanning several decades, a huge, moving, gory saga. Aeschylus' greatest and final play asks whether justice can ever be done - it continues to resonate more than two millennia after it was written.
Our work with the Almeida Theatre brings the expertise of their practitioners to the A level Drama students. This is a tailor-made creative programme of theatre and devising activities culminating in a performance on the Almeida stage, responds to the students' academic and creative needs.
When is it happening?
The performance is taking place at The Almeida Theatre on Thursday 25th June 2015, 2.30pm and is approximately 1hr long. Tickets are free and can be obtained from the Almeida box office.
