Connectingvibes* is a Dance company run in partnership with IRIE! dance theatre which helps students studying an FdA in Dance at the College to achieve their ambitions. Connectingvibes focuses its support on young artists as they make the transition into a professional career.

As part of the collaboration connectingvibes* are teaming up with singer/songwriter Rachel Bennett who will be working alongside students with the aim of touring the production next year.

The show which is open to all, will fuse African, Caribbean, Contemporary dance and physical theatre and will take place at the College’s Centre for Business, Arts and Technology on Camden Road.

Money raised in memory of the late deputy principal, Mary Rimington, will help cover touring costs, commission fees, and travel expenses for the dancers.

If you are passionate about dance and the arts, get a ticket and spread the word

Rosie Lehan, lecturer for dance at the College, said: “We really would like to encourage as many as possible to come to the show. Not only will there be entertainment by highly talented singers and dancers but you will also be supporting a worthy cause. If you are passionate about dance and the arts, get a ticket and spread the word.”
