What is this course about?
If you are interested in business management, this comprehensive
course provides a practical qualification, which will help you to
gain promotion and/or go on to a Business Management Degree. The
course is in partnership with London Metropolitan University.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for anyone looking to gain a professional
and practical qualification to gain a promotion, go on to a
Business Management Degree at University or simply improve their
business management skills.
What do I need to get on the course?
You need to have at least one of the following, 1 A Level (2 AS
Levels are equivalent to 1 A Level), BTEC National
Diploma/Certificate in a related subject, Advanced GNVQ with Merit
or a recognised Access to Higher Education Certificate in a related
subject. In addition, 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including
English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
Applications are welcome from mature students who may not have
the minimum entry requirements, but have appropriate skills and
knowledge, and some work experience. You should have English and
Maths skills equivalent to GCSE level.
Applicants with other equivalent qualifications are encouraged
to apply as are applicants with experience of working in the
industry.
International applications will be considered on a case-by-case
basis with equivalent qualifications being accepted.
What will I study?
This comprehensive course covers all major aspects of business
management, including, finance, market relations, economics,
information communication technology, law, managing change,
organisation management, and development and business.
What qualification will I get?
On successful completion you will gain a Higher National
Certificate in Business Management, awarded by London Metropolitan
University.
What can I do after the course?
Many graduates gain employment or promotion at professional
management level. You can also progress to a wide range of degree
courses including BA Business Management and BA Business Studies
courses at London Metropolitan University.
