Student life at the College
At City and Islington College, we believe in enriching our students’ lives, both inside and outside the classroom. After all, College isn’t just about academic achievement. It’s also about developing personally, socially – and enjoying yourself!
Support for Learning
No two students are the same, and when it comes to getting the most out of your studies, we have a range of staff and resources to help you achieve to your potential. From regular one-to-one and group tutorial sessions to additional learning and disability support, we are here to help.
Support for Life
Our student advisers and counsellors will assist you with any out-of-College matters, including child care, housing and financial concerns. If you need information and guidance on careers and your next step, there’s support for you too.
We are committed to listening to and acting on the views of our students. Why not become a Candi Student Union Class Rep or Centre Rep to represent your peers and take a central role in improving the College for all students.
Canteens and Organic Café
Each of our Centres has an onsite canteen, serving a daily menu of hot and cold food, including healthy options. Canteen meals are incredible value for money, including budget meals for under £2! The canteens are great social spaces as well, where you can relax with friends between lessons.
