The facilities were great as we were able to use Final Cut Pro and quality cameras which I had never been able to use before.

Studied: A Levels in English Language and Literature, Media and Film

Destination: Now taking an apprenticeship at the BBC

She said: “I had a great time at City and Islington and really enjoyed my film and media studies courses which fuelled my ambition to work in the media. The facilities were great as we were able to use Final Cut Pro and quality cameras which I had never been able to use before.

“After creating a music video as part of an A Level project I knew I wanted to work in the media industry and began to research my options. I realised that what I wanted to do did not need me to take a degree and then I found the production apprenticeship at the BBC and I applied.”
