There are some units of study that were totally different from A-level and the course includes a lot more practical work and coursework, says Meera of her Medical Science BTEC course. There have been a lot of trips to go on, including Whittington Hospital, Barts Medical Simulation Centre and in January we hope to be going to France - there'll be lots of studying but we'll be visiting Disneyland!
