ITQ

Say good-bye to one-size-fits-all IT training

Many organisations rely on technology to be competitive in today’s increasingly complex marketplace. Changing technologies are creating ever-new challenges and opportunities. Employers are often confused by the plethora of IT qualifications available.  Many existing qualifications do deliver the skills required, but employers struggle with the complexity and relevance of the skills on offer.

What is ITQ?

ITQ is a flexible IT user qualification package that is tailored to ensure your staff are trained in precisely the skills they need.  It is based on a national framework of skills that covers the core range of everyday IT user skills (14 techniques such as word-processing, spreadsheets, database management, security etc.)

What makes ITQ unique?

ITQ is unique as it recognises what’s best in current qualifications.  It can be tailored to each organisation’s or individual’s requirements and does not involve learning skills that won’t be needed or used.

The ITQ can assess your current IT skills levels by using a specially developed tool that simply and effectively analyses what IT skills users need to perform at their peak.

Key benefits of ITQ

  • It’s truly flexible – ITQ enables your staff to develop skills at different levels, according to the type of organisation and the role of the individual.
  • Bespoke units can be included – Bespoke units, incorporating software unique to your organisation, can be included to meet these specific needs.
  • Cross recognition by awarding bodies – If your staff already have an IT user qualification, they can use it to count towards the ITQ.
  • Less bureaucratic assessment – The ITQ process uses the ‘assess – train – assess’ model to create an ITQ tailor made for your needs. This starts with an evaluation of your organisation’s IT user requirements.

Special offer

For a limited time, we are delivering the ITQ to SMEs with a 70% reduction on the cost.  SMEs can benefit from raising the IT skills in their workforce for only £210 per ITQ.
