Creative Media Production BTEC Level 2 Diploma
About the course
This course is particularly suited to students with dyslexia, students with physical disabilities, and deaf students (BSL communicator available). You will learn how the media sector works, and will design and produce various products for the industry.
You will need previous experience or a genuine interest in graphic design and the creative media industry.
This practical course teaches a range of work-related skills, and you will use state-of-the-art digital equipment and software to make a variety of media products such as an interactive website, a 12-page booklet, a video trailer and a video game cover.
You will get an insight into how the media industry works, as well as careers in the media.
Additional staff are available for those who need support with their study.

You will use software including:
- Adobe Photoshop CS6
- Adobe InDesign CS6
- Adobe Dreamweaver CS6

- Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint)
You will be assessed mainly through coursework.
On successful completion of the course, you can progress to employment or continue your studies in the same, or a related vocational area.
