About the course

The study programme introduces you to the skills and knowledge required to work, with young children. It enables you to develop yourself and prepare you for your next steps in your chosen career.

You will develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work with young children, and study a range of units. Each unit has a credit value attached. 

You must achieve 37 credits to complete this study programme successfully.

CACHE Level 2 Certificate in an Introduction to Early Years Education and Care (QCF)

Sharareh Ariaee Shad is currently studying the Foundation Degree in Education: Primary Pathway.

She said: “I’m currently working as a Teaching Assistant whilst studying and am really enjoying developing my knowledge and skills to work in the sector. There are lots of opportunities to learn at the College and outside of my course I’ve also become a beatbullying mentor.”
