This course is designed for people who wish to study a Business-related degree at University but who currently lack the necessary qualifications. It is the ideal bridging course to a career in Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Hospitality, Leisure, Tourism and public sector organisations

All applicants must have a minimum grade C in GCSE maths. For International Students: Along with the above qualifications, you will also need an IELTS 5.5 (with at least 5.0 in each component), or equivalent.

For this Diploma you will study Academic Study Skills, Business Studies, Economics, Leisure & tourism, ICT or Accountancy and Finance options. To be accepted for the Accountancy and Finance option you will have to pass a further assessment.

You will also have a personal tutor who will support you during the year and who will advise you on your applications to higher education institutions.

The course requires between 2.5 to 3 days attendance a week. You will also be expected to undertake private study of 10-15 hours a week in addition to this.

Assessment is by coursework and occasional written examinations.

You can progress on to a range of possible degrees in Business, Finance, Business IT, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, Human Resources, law  or similar fields.
