I love all the practicals we do, says Dagna, and we do loads. It's really fun! I've been on a pre-med course at Oxford as part of my Medical Science BTEC and they taught us a lot both in practical terms- how to suture, how to read x-rays- and also in how we should apply for medicine and how to choose the right university. I like the Centre for Applied Sciences because the laboratories are brilliant and we have loads of equipment to use! My tutor has been brilliant and really helpful, especially in helping me to decide whether I wanted to do genetics or medicine at university.
