Please:

  • Arrive at the start of the session
  • Allow at least two hours for assessment and enrolment
  • Bring proof of ID (Passport) and any recent benefit letters (if applicable) to complete the enrolment.
    During your visit:
  • We will talk to you about the course(s) you want to do.
  • You will do an English and/or maths assessment.
  • We mark your assessment and talk to you about the best course(s) to improve your skills.
  • Once you have decided on your course, you will fill in an enrolment form and enrol.

About the course

Whatever your plans for the future, the ability to work well with numbers will really help you.

We offer a range of maths courses to help you develop the number skills you need for work and everyday life - even if you've been out of education for a while.

From complete beginners to Level 2, they'll be a course at the right level for you.

You will need to take a short test so that we can assess your level and enrol you on the best course for you. Just book an assessment or drop in during opening hours (see below).

Finsbury Park Centre (Centre for Lifelong Learning, 28-42 Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park, N4 2DG)

  • Monday to Thursday 9am-7pm
  • Friday 9am-3pm

You will take part in a range of activities to refresh and develop your maths skills, building your confidence in dealing with numbers, including money, measurements and graphs.

Your progress will be monitored in a variety of ways and we offer a range of qualifications to demonstrate your achievements.

You can progress to further study in Maths, leading to GCSE and beyond.
