Every year City and Islington College welcomes thousands of students to its five diverse campuses to study courses from GCSEs to A Levels to foundation degrees. The students featured in the Class of 2015 represent a small portion of the bold ambitions that are achieved each year. Brandy Mongoy

Studied: A Levels in History, English Literature and Psychology

Destination: University of Sheffield to study an LLB in Criminology and Law

 I have loved studying Psychology and my ambition for the future is to become a barrister. Due to my childhood, I am passionate about justice and my teachers have fuelled my drive to use my skills to make a safer and fairer society.”

Studied: A Levels in English Language and Literature, Creative Writing and Spanish

Destination: Oxford University to study English and Spanish

 I am so happy to have received my results and to be progressing to one of the top universities in the world. I have really enjoyed studying languages at the College, and the careers service and Oxbridge Prospects have provided me with so much support to achieve my goal.”

Victor Howard

Studied:  International Relations and Politics – Access to Higher Education Diploma

Destination: BSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics

 At school we were just talked at, but studying Access we have discussions and debates on topics such as the US and China’s tense relationship, the Israel Palestine conflict and the Vietnam War.”
