The Guardian: Colleges offer rescue plans to Woolies staff

City and Islington College has swung into action to support
hundreds of Woolworth’s workers who have begun the New Year by
losing their jobs. A rapid response team has visited Woolworth’s
stores across London to advise staff on what services they can
access through the college and the training and support they can
receive.
