We have some of the best college facilities in the UK. Our new £15 million building was officially opened by the then Secretary of State for Education, Ruth Kelly, in January 2006. Applications for our courses have since reached record levels – up 65% on last year.

Centre of Vocational Excellence for ICT and Network Technologies

This reflects the College’s outstanding achievements in the last Ofsted inspection, our Beacon status, the superb achievements of our students in recent years and our fantastic facilities.

We were awarded Centre of Vocational Excellence Status (CoVE) in recognition of the high quality of our ICT and Network Technologies courses, which are taught in a custom-built suite.

As well as courses delivered at the Centre we also offer work-based learning and Apprenticeship programmes, which means that a tutor can come to your work.

City and Islington's Media A-level has a fantastic reputation, which attracted me to study it, says Jilly, who studied at the Sixth Form College. The teachers were really helpful and the courses definitely lived up to their reputation, so I'd absolutely recommend the College to other people.
