Equality and diversity

We celebrate the diversity of our students and staff and work hard to ensure equality of opportunity for everybody. Our commitment to these principles is key to our vision for the next 10 years. We're also thinking globally to ensure City and Islington College is attractive to students from all over the world seeking a first rate college to further their education.

We believe in the equal value of all our students. We are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all who learn and work here. We actively combat racist, sexist, homophobic or ageist behaviour and other forms of discrimination.

My course offers the entry qualification I need to go on to study podiatry at degree level, said Nicola, who is studying Medicine and Allied Professions Access to Higher Education. I really enjoy it because all the subjects are relevant and geared towards what I want to do, and the teachers really make the course because they are knowledgeable, friendly, and make the lessons very interesting.
