Achieving the college’s vision requires a bold and ambitious strategy for change.
We know the strategy must:
- Be centred on students - rigorously and consistently focused on the outcomes we enable students to achieve, as well as empowering students to shape and influence what and how they learn.
- Be evidence based and future focused - based on a clear picture of the skills, qualities and qualifications that students need and employers want, now and in the future.
- Be built on excellence – grow our key areas of specialism and expertise, whilst also pursuing new, strategic opportunities that improve outcomes for students and move us towards our vision.

'Senior leaders’ strategic plan for 2014—17 provides an excellent account of their strategic aims and how these will be addressed, along with quantitative measures of success. It is monitored rigorously by governors. Leaders, managers and governors ensure that the college has a highly positive reputation within its local communities and plays a vital role in a wide range of local initiatives to address issues of economic and social regeneration and inclusion. They have also helped to secure the continuity of provision through their skilful work towards merger with another London general further education college, planned for the autumn of 2016.'
