City and Islington College student Khang Ly wins UBS award

City and Islington College student Khang Ly was featured in a recent edition of the Islington Tribune when he won an award in a competition staged by Swiss bank UBS.

The ‘Outstanding students’ contest honours the achievements of 100 pupils throughout the UK.

A Level student Khang was presented with his award for his film-making skills and raising £1,200 for the victims of the Haiti earthquake in a sponsored 65-mile run from Cambridge to London. He says: “I have always been interested in investment banking and I will be studying economics at the University of Bristol next year.”
